Content Creator Spotlight: Auticate with Chris and Debby

I'm going to try something new.  I've decided to discover content creators/fellow autism/neurodiverse advocates at least every week.  I'll watch at least one of their videos and share what I've learned about them based on observation and the main topics they discuss.  I feel like it's important for me to do this to explore and learn about what other advocate creators are sharing compared to what I share.  Today, I will be discussing my thoughts and observations on the duo Auticate with Chris and Debby.  I've spent two days learning about them and their purpose as an advocacy content creation team.

In their channel description on YouTube, Chris and Debby share that their purpose is "Helping autistic adults and parents of autistic/ADHD kids navigate the world of autism and ADHD". They share that Chris is a late-AuDHD diagnosis and through all of it, they have been learning how to readjust their lives in order to support an AuDHD brain. Before all of this, they moved to Taiwan over 15 years ago to build jobs in education. They share that "since then then we've helped over 1,000 families, supported neurodivergent students and staff, and traveled to numerous countries. Now we're sharing what we've learned about autism, ADHD, and life as a neurodiverse couple...all with our signature humor, positivity, and unique outlook on life together". Based on that channel description and after watching one video as it came on my feed, I was moved to check out and watch another one. It was about 13-minutes long and well-done. Nothing I watched was new, but if you're new to all of this, it's very informative.

I discovered this duo has a website of their own where you can subscribe to for free and they'll send you their latest content. (Link: Auticate Website)  They also offer a $19/Month membership to join a their community.

On YouTube, Chris and Debby have 114K subscribers and seem fairly new to posting videos.  Their oldest videos are about a year or so old.

I like their message and I'm excited to share their videos as I come across them and hope to share more on my blogs.

Chris and Debby! If you see this, hello from your fellow aut-vocate.  I hope you continue to inspire people on the spectrum by giving them hope to thrive!

If you've seen any of their content, which stands out to you?

DISCLAIMER: Chris and Debby did NOT give me consent to discuss their page.  However, they are public figures with a business and over 1K YouTube Subscribers.  I will NOT discuss and share my reviews on my fellow autism advocates unless they give permission or are looked at as public figures (must be certified or have over 1K followers).
